School management is not possible if corona outbreak increases: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has indicated that educational institutions will be closed if the outbreak of corona increases. “If the corona outbreak is high, it will not be possible to run the school,” he said.

The Prime Minister said this while announcing the results of SSC and equivalent examinations on Thursday (December 30) and distributing free textbooks for the 2022 academic year among students at primary and secondary levels. Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated the program of publishing results and distributing textbooks by virtually joining Ganobhaban.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, This time the syllabus has been shortened and the test has been taken in compliance with the health rules thinking about Corona.

Drawing the attention of the Ministry of Education, the Prime Minister further said, Online education must be continued. Because corona is sometimes increasing, sometimes decreasing. What we have noticed is that after winter, its prevalence increases again. Therefore, the Ministry of Education has to prepare for that from now on. If the outbreak is high, it will not be possible to run the school. That’s why we need to make sure that online education reaches every household.

The Prime Minister said, There is no problem of electricity in the country now. Electricity is everywhere. We will provide all the necessary materials so that the students can conduct their studies online. He has to take steps so that he can continue his studies even while sitting at home. Besides, the Ministry of Education will be able to use Parliament TV at all times.
